Confirm print settings and generate codes.
Notes on Printing...
Print the certificates from your browser. This dialog window will not be printed, only the
certificates behind it will.
Click here, to open your browser's print dialog. Set the correct
page orientation
(portrait) for your current printer and
print a test page.
If you're okay with the test page, skip the rest of this and click "Finish" to generate the certicate codes
and print the certificates.
Read on for optimal alignment.
Multi-certificate pages where designed to require a minimal number
of cuts per page. Following the "cut lines" should produce certificates which are uniform in size. If they are not, then
the margin settings need to be adjusted.
Open your browser's "Print Preview" to verify and adjust your print settings. If you do not see it,
try pressing the "Alt" key to expose the main menu bar. It's usally hidden under the "File" menu.
Select the proper page orientation (portait or landscape), turn off all headers and footers, and adjust the margins
to the recommeneded settings as displayed to the left.
The recommended margins may not be correct due to varying printer and browser combinations.
Keep the right and bottom margins as low as possible. The certificate pages are designed to "float" to the top left
corner of the printed page.
If all this is done correctly, you should be able to set the "Print Size" or "Scaling" at 100%. Printing at 100% ensures no distortion
and maximum use of printable area.
Note to Chrome and Safari users: Sorry, but "Print Preview" and "Page Setup" are currently unavailable in Chrome.
Safari has "Page Setup", but cannot disable headers and footers. If you use either of these browers,
consider using
Opera,
Firefox, or
Internet Explorer
for printing certificates.
Finally, a nice inexpensive paper trimmer like
this one
is highly recommended for trimming smaller certificate pages.
